How to Use: Equilib

Example

Calculate the equilibrium state of a copper-slag-matte system at 1250°C, which is related to copper smelting processes. The calculation is performed under the following conditions:

  • System Composition: Defined as shown in the table below.

  • Oxygen Partial Pressure: Set to reach 10-8 atm at the equilibrium state.

  • Variable Parameters: Investigate the stable phases at equilibrium by varying the ratio of FeO to SiO2.

Standard Workflow

  • Input the materials to be charged into the furnace.
  • Select the species that may exist at equilibrium.
  • Enter the temperature, pressure, and other conditions, then start the calculation.
  • Plot graph.
